Story
Unfortunately, we didn't have time to get the story into the game due to technical issues. This story was written by Friendly Mimic and his wife Eva:

Bonus Story
This is a part of the story that wasn't able to make it into the game, due to time constraints and issues with our SFX and voice acting (due to being sick), as well as generally running out of time. As you could see above, even the condensed story didn't make it in. The following story was written by Crowe:
Prologue
Judge, Jury, and Executioner
Valka:
Stone rough against my legs.
Iron cold and tight around my wrists.
My head is low.
I'm burning with anger as all of Heaven comes to watch my humiliation.
The casting out of an angel.
[SFX - Heavy footsteps approaching]
[SFX - The crowd rises to their feet]
Valka:
I feel the anger in His glare, and I look up to meet it.
I know he can feel my rage matching his.
God:
“Where did I go wrong with you, Valka?”
“Eons you were loyal, valiant in your duties, faithful and unquestioning.”
“But in the matter of a day, you turn your blade — my blade — against my followers.”
“You throw away an eternity of duty for heathens, barbarians.”
Valka:
The words bite at me, hearing innocent people branded as savages.
God:
“Have you nothing to say in your defense?”
“Surely you have your reasons.”
“Corruption by a demon, perhaps, or one of the Old Ones slipped into your mind while at battle.”
Valka:
I want to speak, but I can't.
My jaw is held shut by an invisible vice.
He knows I can't and He's mocking me.
He knows I can’t, because if I could, I would tell all of Heaven the truth about His corruption, how He has strayed from his purpose as the shepherd of humanity.
He waits, I wait. I say nothing, because I can’t.
God:
“So be it.”
[SFX - A staff hits the stone, it BOOMS into an echo]
“You leave me no other choice.”
[SFX - Valka screaming, the sounds of her powers being taken from her]
“Since you no longer devote yourself to me, I take back the powers I have granted you as my Angel of War.”
“And I strip you of your eternal life.”
“And your spot in the kingdom of Heaven.”
[SFX stops]
“You will walk the world as a mortal, until you die a mortal death.”
[SFX - Chains clatter as Valka is lifted up into the air]
“I would suggest you use the time to seek repentance.”
“Though I assure you, it will not come.”
[SFX - Valka is thrown out of Heaven, the wind rushes as she falls]
Valka:
For the first time ever, I feel weak.
I feel cold.
The wind rushing against me is sharp and biting and unpleasant.
It's never felt like this before.
I don't keep track of how long I fall, I'm barely conscious.
This is a new sensation, a mortal one.
This fading feeling…
Like I can't keep my eyes open…
Even when I know… I need to…
[SFX - Wings flutter, Valka comes to a soft landing]
